The Prayer for the Holy Spirit

John 14:15-18 “If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

Realize that you have been given a gift from God - the Holy Spirit.

Realize that this is a special gift that” the world cannot accept”.

Realize that the Holy Spirit lives in you! Don’t take that lightly.. for it means you are NEVER.. and I repeat, NEVER alone.

John 14:26-27 “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Realize that you have the gift of PEACE. A peace that this world has no place over. A peace that passes all your understanding. CLAIM IT!

Realize that you have NOTHING.. absolutely NOTHING to fear. The most repeated saying in the Bible is “Do not be afraid!” Listen and OBEY!

YOUR PRAYER:
With your prayer today, let the Holy Spirit guide you to pray for what God wills for you to pray for. Take the time to listen to the voice of God and let Him direct your focus and prayer. God has more to say to and through you than you think. Let Him lead and let His Will through you be done.

Galatians 5:24-25 “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” NLT

The Prayer for Protection

What do you need protection from?

Think about that for a moment. Maybe God will reveal to you certain things. But one thing is certain: YOU NEED GOD’S PROTECTION!

CYN, in one day we go through countless sins and experience countless struggles. Although we may not notice them all, it’s all there. Think about the things that you go through:

emotions.. PAUSE..

hurt.. PAUSE..

memories.. PAUSE..

happiness.. PAUSE..

love.. PAUSE..

curiousity.. PAUSE..

deception.. PAUSE..

betrayal.. PAUSE.. etc.

Go back through that list and actually think about the things you go through.

Each day the attack of the enemy is on you, and you need God to protect you from it. Whether it be you fears, your hurts, your emotions, physical pain, etc. Even our own selfish desires and wants, we have to be protected from. God’s protection is needed and essential in our walk with Him. You cannot do it all alone.

Secure your heart in the Lord and He’ll guard your heart like a shield that surrounds you on all sides and angles.

Psalms 46:1 “God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble.” NCV

Proverbs 4:23 “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” NLT

“D UP” CYN! Let God be your protection! =)

Prayer Points:
-Protection against physical, emotional, and spiritual harm for all the CYN
-God’s help in protecting our hearts from the emotions, feelings, hurt, and pains we stress upon too much
-God to shield us from the attack of the enemy and the doubts and fears we face daily
-Protection from our own selfish desires, wants and our pride

Prayer of Confession and Forgiveness

Isaiah 55:6-7
6-Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
7-Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

“Sometimes we feel like we are so distant from God because of all the sins we’ve done. Sometimes we feel like we are to ashamed to even come to Him, that He won’t even forgive such a thing, or even listen to us. But.. What if its just Him waiting for us to confess?

Sometimes we are so stubborn that we dont even realize the fact that He’s constantly tapping you in your shoulder saying, “i want to help, im right here, give it to me, and I will handle it.”

Keep in mind that if you believe and are truly sincere to your prayers, then He has already answered it. He hears every cry, sees every tears, and knows the faults that we’ve done. The sins that we’ve committed, the secrets we’re holding on to, the flaws we see in others, and the judgements we say about people. But, God is a God of second chances. ALL of that can be taken care of by confessing your sins and asking for forgiveness. Believe that He has already forgiven you, and that your heart and sins have been cleansed. God is a forgiving God.”

Encouragement:
“Be still and know that He is God, let Him lead you. He’ll never leave you nor forsake you. God’s got your back.”

Prayer:
“God, I thank you Lord for this amazing life you have given me, and for all the things you’ve done in it. I pray that if any of us are holding unto anything, or to ashamed to even confess, then God.. PLEASE lead them, and speak to them. Let the prayers that are coming out of our mouth be true and sincere. Let them know that you still love them, and will NEVER love them any less. Because your love is unconditional. We thank you Lord for the endless chances you have given us, and the forgiveness you have brought upon us. We love you and we glorify you, in Jesus Name, Amen.”

GOD LOVES YOU, AND HE HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN YOU.

FAITH and WORKS

Give to God what belongs to Him,
your heart, mind and spirit and everything else in this world,
relationships, family, school, work…
your past, bitterness, unforgiveness, hurts,
your hands, feet, mouth, eyes, your whole body.
and see what will come out from it.
let go of the things that are precious to you what makes you safe or hidden (secrets of the past)… and put it in the hands of God.

Let FAITH overcome fear!

He will lead you out from darkness into his marvelous light.

When GOD opens a door for you “opportunity” have faith in where He will lead you it will be victorious; sharing his word, reaching out, sacrificing… Surrendering…

1 Peter 1:6-7 “i know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. when Jesus wraps this all up, its your faith not your gold that God will have on display as evidence of his VICTORY”

PRAYERRR:
Dear God, You are amazing, magnificent, majestic, glorious, beautiful, wonderful… a God who knows all things, a God who can do all things… Lord You have gone thru it all… and Lord right now forgive us for our sins, our fears, our doubts… Lord the lack of faith that we have in You…and any unconfessed sin… may You create in us a new heart. purified in Your saving hands… may we be released in what this world secures us in and may we be completely secured in You. Give us the spirit of faith, that in every word of Yours we speak of, lives will be changed, chains will be loosed, people will be set free from bondage and every thing we lay hands on will bring healing and let Your power of life be upon it and the power of darkness will flee.
right now oh Lord im claiming with faith that as we have gone over these prayer lists we will see nothing but YOUR GLORY be revealed. thank you Lord!

Prayer of Confidence

“Two days ago, I had a plan for the whole week. A plan which does not include taking the time to ask God for his opinion about my plans. Sunday night, I felt as if I was convicted to do my devotion first before doing my homework, but of course I did my homework first and all I was able to give God was the leftovers of my time for that day. Tuesday morning… I had a little fainting accident.. I was in the bathroom and all I remember was blacking out and waking up on the ground. When I woke up I felt as if I lost all control of my body, I was so weak and all I could say think about was “God please help me” because I KNOW HE’S the ONLY ONE I can RELY ON.”

In Psalm 91 : 14-16 it says:

” If you’ll hold on to me for dear life, says the God, I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me. Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”

From this passage I realized how much I NEEDED God and how much God wants me to fully rely on him. Thing is, I didn’t realize this till I lost all my strength and all I had is God.

Prayer:
Dear God,
I pray that we will learn to rely on you fully. That we will always acknowledge your power and sovereignty in our life and that we will not rely on our own strength, and also, that we will realize this before we’ve lost everything.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

Challenge:
Pray for Confidence in the Almighty, that we will learn to put our trust and faith in God fully, with no doubts or restraints.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:14-16 NIV)

Prayer of Remembrance

Have we ever just stopped and just remember what the cross has done for us? If not this is a perfect time to do so, since easter sunday was just a couple of days ago. Just imagine the Son of God coming down here on earth from His wonderful kingdom just to die on the cross painfully, horribly, mocked and embarassed in front of the people that He is trying to save. Christ died so that we will be forgiven from our sins and that will be the end of our sins! Therefore we shouldn’t go starting what is already finished! Imagine every time we sin Jesus is being put to the cross over and over again, because we are sinning all over again.

“But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” - Galatians 3:13

Challenge:
¤Risks:
Pray for risks that we should take for the Kingdom of God. Like what Jesus did to risk His life to save us. We should risk our lives to give glory back to Jesus! We should overcome the world’s status quo like what Jesus did!

¤Humility:
Pray for humility in our hearts that we will let go everything that God didn’t intend for us to keep. Humility that we will not be stubborn to tell God what to do. God knows what He is doing and he knows what were doing better than we do. That’s why he gave Jesus to die on the cross to save us even if we didn’t understood or still understand why Jesus had to die in such a horrifying way.
